Winter-A Time for Home

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home. ~Edith Sitwell

It's supposed to turn cold here. I'm a SUMMER person. I thrive on that 90 to 100 degree heat we have. I don't do well in single digit weather. SO I suppose I'll just find comfort where I can, snuggling in a blanket, by the fire, with the little ones. We'll have to break out the board games. I'm very thankful for our home. Though not as magnificent as some, it welcomes us, it's pretty warm, and filled with love, and that's what matters.

  1. Love the fire place. It looks so warm. They say cold weather and snow are coming. I agree with the warm weather but I like it in the 60's and 70's. I'm one of those fair weather people I guess. You guys try to stay warm and enjoy the games.

  2. I'm more of a fall/spring gal. Summer is my least favorite season. And while I do like winter, I don't like to be cold. We're supposed to be having single digit temperatures this week. Brrr.....that's cold!

Hope you have a great week!
