Weeks 11 12 & 13 of 7th Grade Homeschool

In my life this week…
We're homeschooling of course and cleaning a lot. Our Thanksgiving meal will be at a relatives house, but we decorate for Christmas and put up our tree the Friday after. I like to have everything ready.
This coming week we'll get the tree, and ornaments down, buy some hot chocolate, and break out "White Christmas" maybe some seasonal cartoons, for movie night.

In our homeschool this week…
We've almost finished with the "percents" unit. We've been on it for all of November.
Our memory verse this week was ~But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57~
Our memory verse copywork in PDF form can be downloaded for free here on my blog, as well as multiplication copywork and worksheets.
The Alice in Wonderland unit study is working out so well that we plan to finish the entire thing.

I am inspired by…
All of our many blessings. We've been reflecting and counting blessings in the spirit of the season. I'm even counting down the days to Thanksgiving by posting about one thing I'm thankful for everyday.

My favorite thing this week was…
Laughing with my daughter.

Things I’m working on…
Getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I’m grateful for…
Health, and time with family and friends.

I’m praying for…
The sick and needy.

  4. Stopping by from The Homeschool Mother's Journal! Sounds like you're in the holiday "spirit"! How wonderful! I seem to be lagging behind this year! Perhaps it's because we've been so busy and/or sick with colds? I'll get there though! LOL

  5. I enjoy laughing with my child too. Sometimes I forget to stop long enough to see the joy in the small moments. I work on that daily.
