Iris at Grace Alone is hosting this weeks Thankful Thursday. The theme is Veterans Day. You can read other thankful posts here.
I posted yesterday about being thankful to the men and women of the armed forces. I'm also thankful for all the praying civilians who pray faithfully for them. May God keep all those who have given so much for our freedom.
We've been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving. How the pilgrims came here for freedom. Today we're making some little pilgrims and indians. We found this site with a lot of Thanksgiving resources on it. It even has links to the Thanksgiving proclamations of 1676, 1782, and 1789. What sites and resources do you use for Thanksgiving?
Aunt B has some awesome resources on her site. They're all free too.
Check it out at Homeschool 4 free!
We're thankful for Veterans Day, November, Fall and Thanksgiving all. (Even if it still feels a little like summer around here.)
May God keep them safe. Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteTammy, so good to have you back. Thanks for the input for my site. I was also glad to hear you guys are back to homeschooling. Maybe things can get back to normal for all of you. I love you all bunches! It does me good to hear things are going well again. Aunt B
ReplyDeleteHistory is a favorite of mine; I always enjoyed studying about the Pilgrims when I was little. Thank you so much for praying for my daughter and my travels. Prayers mean everything right now! You are on our list too, for your cold.

Thanks for visiting and for the link for free downloads for homeschooling. I'm just starting to think about what we are going to do and am leaning more and more and more toward homeschooling. Thanks for the links!
