Week 10 of 7th Grade Homeschool

In my life this week…
We took our daughter to a couple of "fall fest" get togethers, this week. This weekend we had a little nephew over. Funnest of all, we attended a big ole wiener roast with my sister, and her family. What's not to love about autumn?

In our homeschool this week…

Our memory verse was Phi. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Our memory verse copywork in PDF form can be downloaded for free here on my blog, as well as multiplication copywork and worksheets.
In Math: Subtracting from 100%, Finding the percentage of a number, and working with percents and fractions.
She is still loving the Alice in Wonderland unit study. This week she's on chapter 5.

I am inspired by…
Gods love and enduring patience.

My favorite thing this week was…
The wiener roast. Yeah, that was fun.

Things I’m working on…
This week I mostly worked on costumes, and hauling, picking up after, and feeding kids. Gonna try and organize my kitchen this week. Yes... TRY

I’m cooking… Burritos, the kids thought they were great. lol

I’m grateful for…
Health, and time with family and friends.

I’m praying for… Those in the rest homes.

  2. We did a wiener roast this past week too! Over a fire pit that my 6-year-old built for us! He was SUPER excited to make something for the family to use. Totally outdoors kid! And then the snow came! Hoppin' by from the THMJ!
